Samsung G600 5 Megapixel Camera Phone Announced

Samsung had today officially confirmed the Samsung G600 - its latest 3G camera phone armed with an impressive 5 megapixel camera. According to the manufacturer, it should be the slimmest slider of its class with only 14.9 mm.

The Samsung G600 features Bluetooth v2.0, a FM radio with RDS, USB 2.0 support and a microSD slot. The G600’s TFT display measures good 2.3″ and boasts QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution.

The Samsung G600 is comparable to and will be a competitor to other high-end camera phones like LG KG920, Nokia N95, and the coming Sony Ericsson K850.

Pricing and commercial availability is not yet known for the Samsung G600.

Here Comes BlackBerry 8820 with Wi-Fi

RIM today announced the BlackBerry 8820 smartphone. Skype For Nokia N800 Internet Tablet

Skype is now available on the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet, bringing Skype conversations anywhere in the world where there is an available wireless internet connection (WiFi).

Skype for the Nokia N800 will be available for download for existing users. There will also be Skype download links on the latest release of Nokia N800 devices which will be available at retail and on the Skype online store. Get Ready For Motorola RAZR2

The much awaited Motorola RAZR2 mobile phones announced about two months ago are expected to commercially available this month, July 2007, in some markets. The MOTORAZR2 family’s line of three new handsets of V9 (3G HSDPA), V9m (EVDO CDMA) and V8 (GSM) had been previously unveilled by Motorola, the manufacturer of the highly popular RAZR3, which opened the way for the currently reigning ultra slim trend in the mobile world.

The Motorala RAZR2 V8 is a quand-band GSM/EDGE mobile device, while the Motorola RAZR2 V9 is a quand-band GSM/EDGE/HSDPA-enabled device. The third one in the MOTORAZR2 family, the Motorola V9m, is an EVDO CDMA version of the same mobile.

The common features of both the Motorola RAZR2 V8 and RAZR2 V9 are:

At the core of the MOTORAZR2 is a stainless steel internal frame and cast aluminium housing support that makes the mobile device stronger and more durable. The exterior lens is made with chemically hardened glass, thereby making it stronger, and less subsceptible to breakage.

CrystalTalk Technology
At the heart of the MOTORAZR2 is CrystalTalk Technology, which automatically adjusts the audio quality based on ambient noise conditions of the background to provide user with optimal conversational experience.

Both versions of the MOTORAZR2 phones have touch-sensitive music keys, plus high quality MPEG4 video capture and playback and speaker independent voice dialing. The touch-sensitive screens are part of the external display which means that it is part touch-sensitive. In addition, the keys come with a clever feedback (haptics) technology. The handset produces slight vibrations every time a touch-sensitive key us pressed.

While the Motorola RAZR2 V8 will become commercially available in July 2007, the Motorola RAZR2 V9 will be commercially available Third Quarter 2007.

The MOTORAZR2 is slimmer and has a more intelligent user interface than the previous RAZRs. This is aided with customizable menu, intuitive messaging application, Talk To Me, which allows the MOTORAZR2 to speak to the user the interactive menus, contacts, messages and more aloud. Above all, with the new ARM 11 processor, the processing speed of the new MOTORAZR2 is 10 times faster than the original RAZR.
